Education: University of California-Berkeley,
Bachelor of Architecture, 1970 with honors
Registrations: Current: NCARB, California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho,
and Colorado. Previous: Louisiana, Texas, and Pennsylvannia
FCDA Experience: 1977-Present
Mr. Divine has worked in all phases of the various Residential and Commercial projects in which the practice has been engaged: new custom residential, new affordable residential, small residential remodel/additions, large residential remodel/additions, new commercial structures, historic rehabiliitation, office space planning, non profit projects of different types, restaurants, automotive uses, hotel/motel, light industrial, a surgical center and even jails. Mr. Divine has extensive experience securing planning approvals and with resolving code enforcement issues.

Mr. Divine has been part of many local appointed planning or advisory
committees: Fairfax Planning Commission, Fairfax Design Review Board, San
Rafael Downtown Vision, San Rafael Downtown Advisors Group (changing the
planning rules from the Vision), Marin County/San Rafael St.
Vincents/Silveira Advisory Task Force, and the San Rafael Homelessness
Advisory Board. Mr. Divine is a past chairman and director of the San Rafael Chamber of
Commerce and still is active in Chamber committees.
